Biography

Dr. Jen-Yi Chang (Lenny), born in 1981 in Taiwan, earned his Bachelor of Engineering (2003), Master of Engineering (2005), and Doctor of Philosophy (2010) degrees from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan.
In 2012, Dr. Chang joined Tainan University of Technology (TUT) as an Assistant Professor, serving both the General Education Center and the Department of Business Administration. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018 and to Full Professor in 2022. Throughout his academic career, he has held key administrative positions, including Director of the General Education Center and the Language Training Center.
Currently, Dr. Chang serves as Vice President of Tainan University of Technology, a role he assumed in August 2025, in addition to his appointment as Director of the Institute of Research and Development. His research focuses on coastal engineering, numerical simulations, partial differential equations, and green management. Dr. Chang is dedicated to bridging theory and practice, applying rigorous academic inquiry to address complex challenges in environmental and engineering contexts.
